What is Genomic Medicine?
Genomic Medicine is a rapidly evolving field, that in combination with 100,000 Genomes Project, will have a major impact on clinical diagnosis and prognosis, as well as biomedical research. These modules provide a progressive programme from fundamental genetics and genomics, through to applied clinical practice and genomic research, whilst recognising the ethical, legal and social issues that arise in using genetic data in diagnosis and treat various diseases.
What can we offer you?
If you are wanting to develop your knowledge and expertise in the field of Genomic Medicine or Personalized Medicine, we offer one year funded options to gain a PG Diploma, PG Certificate. We also offer each of the Autumn and Spring modules individually as CPPD, thereby allowing you to select options relevant to your education and training needs.
Entry requirements: A 2:1 degree in a relevant science, biomedical science or healthcare related subject. Healthcare professionals with suitable work background & experience are also eligible. Minimum of IELTS 7.0 overall or an equivalent qualification.
